Welcome to my FAQ (frequently asked question) page for Used Golf Club Reviews. Our goal at Golfineer is to give you the information that you need to improve your golf game. This is a compilation of golf questions from my website visitors in which I do my best to answer. If you have a golf related question please ask me and I will supply an answer. To ask a question please click on the following:  Submit Your Question

Q  Are you going to review other named golf clubs besides Callaway and Taylormade?

Yes, I will be reviewing all kinds of golf clubs including wedges and putters. Golfineer is an ongoing website and will grow in time. The reason Callaway and Taylormade are mentioned is because they are the best when it comes to innovation and design in golf club equipment and the most popular.

Q  Why do you mostly show eBay items?

A  There are many great deals for both new and used golf clubs on eBay. Over the past two years, I bought 6 golf clubs on eBay at great prices. One of those golf clubs was a putter which after playing with it for awhile decided it wasn't for me. I resold it on eBay and actually got $5 more than when I purchased it.

Q  I'm not an eBay member. What do I have to do to register at eBay?

A  Registering at eBay is fast and FREE. Click on this: Register At eBay

Q  Why did you name your website Golfineer? It's such an odd name?

About 10 years ago a friend of mine and I played 8 different golf courses in a four week span. We then were having a few beers in the clubhouse talking to another golfer and related this to him. He called us Golfineer's. In relation to a pioneer - to conquer new places, to lead the way. That name has stuck in my mind ever since.

Q  What is your handicap?

About 10 years ago it was 3, however, due to the ever ongoing ageing process which I can't seem to stop and work issues which I would like to stop, it is currently 10.

Q  What is your practice routine? Do you hit buckets of balls?

I'm not a golf pro so don't go by what I'm about to say. If I haven't played for a month, I will go to the practice range and hit a bucket of balls. However, I usually just practice my chipping in the backyard for about an hour. I chip from 10 yards to 40 yards. The chipping motion is part of your full swing so if I get that part down pretty good then I know my full swing will be good. I also practice putting on my carpet.

Q  Do you do anything special before you play a round of golf?

A  I have a warm-up routine. I do some stretching exercises and jumping jacks to warm-up the body. I then will practice my chipping for about 15 minutes before I hop in the car to the golf course. And if I have time before the round I will head to the practice area and hit a few balls. Warming your body up before a round of golf will take some strokes off of your game.

Q  Will having sex before a round of golf hurt your game?

A  Hmm!!! That's different. I don't recall if I ever had sex before a round of golf but can't seem to find anything wrong with it. It certainly warms up the body and releases tension so my answer would be - go for it as long as it's not on the first tee -  it backs everybody else up!!!
