Callaway golf balls are innovative to say the least. The Tour ix are the most advanced golf balls that Callaway has ever designed.
If I'm paying a hefty price for a golf ball, I want it to carry a long way and offer that great feel around the green. Callaway delivers with the Tour ix golf balls.
It travels about 10 yards further than the HX Tour ball and like other hexagon dimpled balls it holds its line incredibly well.
The ball's dual core construction allows for great distance off the tee while still offering spin around the green. The lower compression inner core provides low spin off the driver for great distance while the higher compression outer core provides high chip-shot spin.
It is relatively soft around the greens, with a good deal of spin generated on half wedge shots for control and accuracy.
The HX Hot Bite golf balls are very popular. The premium cover feels extremely soft and allows the ball to stop quickly on the green for exceptional short-game control. The ball checks up nicely and it really does bite the green.
The hexagon dimples reduces drag for long, efficient ball flight with amazing stability. The HX Hot Bite is designed to jump off the club face. It combines an ionomer cover and boundary layer that pushes the ball velocity near the limit. Hotter off the club face means longer drives.
