Golf Alignment

Golf alignment to the target is critical to your golf shot. How do you align your club and feet to the target?
First you want to square the bottom of your club to the target line. Follow that up by aligning your feet.
I've seen many golfers who think they're aligned but are actually in an open or closed stance which will result in a slice or hook.
You must get your feet and body aligned in such a way that they are perpendicular to your ball and parallel to your target. You want to set your feet slightly left of the target.
A good way to see if your feet are aligned to the target is to address the ball then take your club and lay it flat on the ground touching both your left and right foot. Then back off and see how you're aligned.
When you practice put a club on the ground outside of the ball pointed parallel to your target line. That will allow you to square your club face up and be aligned to the target.
Then put a second club on the ground parrallel to the target for your feet alignment.
Golf professionals practice this way all of the time.
Seeing is believing so please watch this video.
